If you head down to Transport Nagar and find Ganesh Nagar along the Link Road, you will find us in Industrial Area 2. We have been running Mahindra Plastic Industries from this location for quite some time. It is a loud place with the sound of machines and the heavy trucks moving through the lanes. Working with plastic means there is always a certain smell in the air and a lot of heat coming from the production area. We aren't sitting in soft chairs in some glass building. We are mostly on our feet making sure the machines are running and the quality is what it needs to be. The floors are hard and the walls have seen better days but the work gets done. Transport Nagar is a busy hub so there is never a quiet moment. We see a lot of drivers and workers passing through every day. It’s a tough environment sometimes especially when the power goes out or a machine needs a part we have to wait for. We just keep going because that’s the nature of the industry in this part of town. We have a small crew and we all know our roles. It isn't about being fancy or having a big brand name. It is about producing what we said we would and making sure it gets loaded onto the right truck at the right time. Every day is a lot of hard work but it’s what we do.
