M. P. Polyplast

We are located in Sham Nagar on Nandidurga Road, specifically in Gali No 1. It’s right across from the Shiv Mandir, so we hear the temple bells every morning and evening. The building we’re in is called New Shivpuri, and it’s a bit of an old structure. At M. P. Polyplast, there’s always the smell of heated plastic in the air which can be quite strong on hot days. We have these big rolls of material piled up in the corner and the floor is usually covered in little plastic offcuts. The machines we use are loud and they make the floor vibrate when they’re running at full speed. We don't have much of a front office, just a small table near the door where we talk to the delivery drivers. The lane outside is quite narrow, so when a big truck comes to load up, it blocks the whole street for a while. We’ve had a few arguments with the neighbors about that, but they usually understand. It’s a family business, so my sons are often here helping me move the heavy crates around. We drink a lot of water because it gets so stuffy inside the workshop. We don't have any polished floors or bright lights, just some old tube lights that flicker sometimes. It’s just a regular workplace where we get things done every single day and hope for the best.
