Lehra Agro Fuel Industries

Out here at K.M. 23 on the Ludhiana-Malerkotla Road, things move at a bit of a different pace. Lehra Agro Fuel Industries is based in Vpo Lehra, which is basically a village spot surrounded by fields. We work with agro fuel, so there’s always a lot of raw material coming in from the farms nearby. It gets very dusty, especially during the harvest seasons when the tractors are constantly moving back and forth. Our shed is pretty big to keep everything dry when the weather turns. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping the machines running without too much trouble. We aren't right in the middle of the city, which is actually better for the kind of work we do with agricultural waste. You can smell the earth and the processed fuel bits in the air most days. Sometimes the road gets blocked by traffic or cattle, but we manage to get our loads out. It’s a family-run feeling type of place. We know the people around here and they know us by name. We don’t have a fancy reception area with a secretary. If someone stops by, they usually just find us near the processing units or the storage piles. It’s honest work, converting what’s left over from the farms into something useful for fuel. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and the location suits us just fine. Lehra Agro Fuel Industries is just a part of the local landscape now.
