Ldh. Car Seat Co.

Over in Dugri, we’ve got Ldh. Car Seat Co. running daily. It’s a place where there is always some fabric or foam lying around. We spend most of our time working on car interiors, making sure the seats are decent enough to sit on for long drives. People come in with all sorts of vehicles, from old cars that have seen better days to newer ones that just need a little adjustment. Working with your hands like this means you end up with sore fingers by the end of the week, but that’s just how it is. We don’t have a flashy showroom. It’s more of a workshop feel where the real work happens. You’ll hear the sewing machines going most of the afternoon. Dugri is a good place to be, and we’ve gotten to know a lot of the residents and other shop owners nearby. Sometimes we get a rush of orders and things get a little disorganized, but we eventually get through the pile. It’s not about being perfect; it’s about getting the covers to fit right. We take our time with the stitching because if you rush it, it looks bad. We’ve been doing this for a while, so we’ve seen all kinds of wear and tear on seats. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. There is always a car waiting outside for its turn.
