Laxmi Cast & Forge

Laxmi Cast & Forge is based out of unit D-258 in Phase-Viii of the Focal Point area. If you know Focal Point at all, then you know it is a very busy hub with a lot of metal work happening everywhere you look. We fit right into the neighborhood. We do both casting and forging here. The shop floor is almost always covered in a layer of sand and metal shavings. It stays pretty loud because of the heavy hammers and the furnaces running. We don't have any kind of fancy showroom for people to walk through. If you come by to see us, you will probably find us in the back near the molds or the heat. We have been working out of this particular unit for many years now. The crew is a good mix of older hands who know every trick and some younger guys who are still learning the ropes. It is very hot work, especially during the summer months when the heat is trapped inside. We don't use any fancy words to describe what we do here. We melt down metal, pour it into shapes, and beat it until it is right. It is as simple as that. Sometimes the equipment acts up and we just have to fix it ourselves. We aren't corporate types. We are shop floor people. We value the basic relationships we have. We just try to make solid parts.
