Kumar Water Purifier

Kumar Water Purifier is located right near the Hawai Adda, which is basically what everyone calls the airport around here. We are situated at Mile Zero, so it’s a landmark that most folks in the area are familiar with. The planes fly over pretty low sometimes and it makes a lot of noise but after you’ve worked here for a few months you stop even noticing it. We spend most of our time fixing up water purifiers and changing out filters for people who live nearby or have businesses in the area. The dust from the road is a bit of a problem so we are always cleaning the front of the shop to keep it looking decent. It’s a small place, just enough room for the tools and the spare parts we need for the different models of purifiers we work on. The sun really hits the front of the shop in the morning so it gets bright inside quite early. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work on the machines. People often stop by because they are passing through Mile Zero and they might need a quick repair or just want to ask about how to keep their water tasting right. It’s a steady job and we like being in this part of town because it feels like the center of things with the airport so close by. We just take it day by day and try to get the work finished.
