Our place is situated out in the Industrial Zone on Main Bahadur K. Road. If you know where Jai Shawls is, we are located right near there. It is a part of the city where things are always on the move, mostly large trucks carrying raw materials or finished products. We spend our days dealing with a lot of paperwork and heavy boxes. Being in an export-import business means we are constantly looking at the clock and checking on shipping dates. The office isn't anything fancy to look at, just some sturdy wooden tables and a lot of filing cabinets that always seem to be full. We have a small crew working here, and everyone pretty much knows what they need to do without a lot of instructions. Sometimes we have to stay a bit late when a shipment gets delayed or if there is a snag with the transport company. The road outside gets really crowded in the evenings, so trying to leave right at five o'clock is usually a waste of time anyway. We almost always have some tea in the afternoon to keep our energy up. There is a lot of talk about logistics and customs around the office. It is not the most exciting work in the world, but it is what we do. We try our best to keep things organized, but when several deliveries arrive at the same time, the whole place gets a bit chaotic for a while. We just sort through it and keep moving forward until the job is done.
