Kolman International

Kolman International is located at 707 in Industrial Area- A. Despite the name sounding quite grand, we are a very down-to-earth operation. Our space is essentially a large hall where we handle various types of international trading goods. Most of the time, the floor is covered in pallets and shrink wrap. We spend a lot of our morning hours checking the shipping schedules and making sure the inventory matches what the computer says. It is a lot of physical work, lifting boxes and moving things around. The industrial area is always buzzing with activity, so there is a lot of noise from the neighboring units. We have a small office section where the phone rings quite a bit. It’s usually someone asking where their container is or a supplier checking on a payment. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a few calendars and some old maps. The lighting isn't the best, but we know our way around the stacks. We take our tea breaks together in the afternoon, usually leaning against the loading dock. It’s a simple life, focused on moving goods from one part of the world to another. We don't try to sound like a big corporation because we aren't one. We are just people working in a warehouse, making sure the boxes get where they are supposed to go without any trouble.
