Kitson Automatics

Kitson Automatics is located at 255/1, right behind the Avery Ispat building. We’re near Lotey Kanda Village in the Mangli area. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you aren't used to the industrial outskirts. The road is a bit bumpy, especially after the rains. Our workshop is where we handle the automatic parts and machinery. It’s a lot of metal shavings and the smell of machine oil. We have a few lathes and some newer gear that we keep running most of the day. It’s not the cleanest place, but you can’t really keep a machine shop spotless anyway. We usually have the radio playing in the background to drown out the clanking sounds. Most of us wear overalls that have seen better days. There’s a small patch of dirt outside where we park the scooters. We don't get many random walk-ins out here in Mangli, it’s mostly scheduled stuff and deliveries. Sometimes the cows from the village wander near the gate, which is a bit different from working in the city center. We just focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the machines are calibrated. It’s a long day, but there’s a sense of doing something real with your hands. We keep the spare tools in the heavy blue cabinets near the back wall and try to stay productive.
