Kiran Saree

I've been running Kiran Saree for a good while now. We are located at 565 Mall Road, which is right near the petrol pump. It’s a pretty busy spot with cars and bikes always zooming past, but most people find us okay once they see the sign. Mostly we just have different types of sarees piled up on the wooden shelves that line the walls. It is a lot of work keeping everything folded properly after customers look through them, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. My family helps out when the shop gets crowded, especially during the wedding season. Mall Road is always noisy, particularly in the late evenings when everyone is out for a walk or some food. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything like that, just the regular shop front that’s been there for years. People usually stop in while they are getting fuel for their scooters or just walking by on their way to the main market. I try to keep things simple here. The lighting inside isn't the greatest, but you can see the colors of the fabrics well enough to make a choice. Some days are slow and I just sit on the stool and chat with the shopkeepers next door. Other days it's a bit of a mess with people wanting to see every single piece we have in stock. I don't really mind it though. We have some cottons and some heavier ones too. It’s just a regular local shop.
