Khalsa Sweet House

We are located on Street Number 1 in Shimlapuri. Our shop is a bit away from the main noise of the bigger roads, which makes it a little quieter for us. We have been making sweets here for many years now. The place is small and we don't try to make it look like something it isn't. We have some glass cases where we put out the fresh batches of sweets every day. Most of the people who come to see us are our neighbors or people who live just a few streets away. We don't have any big corporate ideas or missions. We just wake up, start the fires in the kitchen, and get to work. My brother and I run the place together, and it is a lot of work to keep up with everything. Our hands are usually covered in flour or sugar by the end of the day. The shop has been in this exact same spot since we were young. We haven't changed much over the years because the old ways of doing things seem to work fine for us. Sometimes we sit out front on wooden stools when there are no customers. It is just a local neighborhood spot where people can get something sweet without any fuss. We keep the place as clean as we can and just take each day as it comes. It is a simple life and we are happy with it.
