We operate out of 15 Chaura Bazar, right inside the Guru Nanak Market on Hazuri Road. If you know this area, you know how crowded and loud it can get. There’s a constant stream of people and rickshaws outside our door. Our space is tucked into the market, and it’s filled with boxes and files. We don't have a big storefront with glass windows; it's more of a functional space for handling our agency work. The stairs leading up to our section are a bit steep and narrow, so you have to be careful. We spend most of the day coordinating between different suppliers and customers. It involves a lot of writing things down in notebooks and making quick phone calls to check on deliveries. We’ve been in Guru Nanak Market for quite some time, so we know all the other shopkeepers around us. Sometimes we share a pot of tea when things are slow. The building is old and the wiring is a bit of a mess, but it works for what we need to get through the day. We don’t try to look corporate because that’s just not who we are. It’s a busy, messy, and very human way to do business. Most days we are just trying to keep up with the pace of the market. When the sun goes down, the lights in the bazar come on and the whole place feels different. We usually stay until the last order is sorted.
