Kanwar Engineers

Kanwar Engineers is situated at 236/6, Amarpura Gupta Road, right in the industrial heart of the area. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have here. We deal with engineering parts and fabrication work, so there is always a lot of scrap metal sitting around in the corners. The road outside is usually torn up or dusty because of all the heavy vehicles passing through to the other factories nearby. We’ve been in this building for quite a while now. It’s got high ceilings to keep it a bit cooler, but in the peak of summer, it still feels like an oven inside. The machines we use are loud, and you have to shout to be heard over the hum of the motors. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decor; we just have the name painted on the front wall so people know where we are. Our day starts early and usually ends when the light starts to fade, though sometimes we stay late if a particular job is giving us trouble. The guys in the shop are local, and they’ve picked up the skills over years of working on different projects. We don't have a big corporate structure here. It's just a few of us making sure the specs are right and the pieces fit together like they should. It’s honest work, and we just try to keep the machines running and the orders moving out to the customers.
