Kamla Sweet

Kamla Sweet is located near the Shiv Mandir on OPH Road, specifically at the corner where it meets Jumma Masjid Road, number 4376. It’s a busy little corner of the world. We deal with all sorts of people every day, from the devotees coming from the temple to the folks heading to the masjid. Our shop is quite small, and we have to stack things high to make everything fit. It’s a bit of a squeeze behind the counter, especially when we have a few of us working at once. We make all the usual sweets you’d expect to find in a neighborhood shop. We don’t use any fancy additives or modern shortcuts; we just stick to the basics. The building is old, and sometimes the lights flicker, but it has character. We open early and stay late, often until the street starts to quiet down at night. We don’t have a fancy menu or a big advertising budget. We just put the trays out and let the smell of the kitchen do the work. It’s a noisy, bustling place, and sometimes it gets a little disorganized when a big crowd comes in at once. We just try to serve everyone as quickly as we can and make sure the boxes are packed right. It’s a simple, honest business, and we’re happy to be part of this community. We don't really have much time to sit around, but we like the fast pace.
