Kalsi Steel Works

Kalsi Steel Works is tucked away in Civil Lines, on Belasis Road at 2312/14 B, right near the AC Market. It’s a busy corner of the world, and there is always something happening outside our doors. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of metal being cut or welded. We do a lot of steel fabrication, so there are sparks flying and the smell of hot iron is pretty much constant. Our shop isn't a showroom; it’s a grit-and-grind kind of place. We have stacks of steel rods and flat sheets leaning against the walls. If you’re looking for a polished corporate office, you won’t find it here. We have a few old desks in the corner where we handle the paperwork, but most of our time is spent out on the floor with the saws and the welding torches. The location near the AC Market makes it easy for people to find us, though parking can be a real headache sometimes. We’ve worked on all sorts of projects over the years, from small gates to big structural frames. We don't talk much while we work because the machines are too loud anyway. It’s just about getting the measurements right and making sure the welds are solid. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and we plan to stay here as long as there is steel that needs cutting. The floor is usually covered in iron filings but that is fine.
