Located in Phase I of Focal Point at 22-D, K S Plastic India Pvt Ltd is right in the heart of the industrial section. Our place is basically a big shed filled with molding machines that run pretty much around the clock. The smell of hot plastic is something you never really get used to but you stop noticing it after the first hour of your shift. We make all sorts of plastic items and the floors are always littered with little scraps of leftover material. It is a noisy environment and we usually have to shout to be heard over the hum of the cooling fans. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but nobody here has the time for that kind of thing. We are more focused on keeping the hoppers full and the molds clean so the parts come out right. There is a lot of heavy lifting involved when we get a fresh delivery of raw pellets. It is hard work and the days are long especially when a machine breaks down and we have to pull it apart to find the clog. We don't have any fancy meeting rooms or anything like that. Just a small corner with a table where we eat our lunch and talk about the day. It is just a straightforward factory where we produce what is ordered and try to keep things moving along.
