K N Casting

K N Casting is situated over on G T Road near Daba Road at 29-B 87-4. This part of town is always noisy with the big trucks moving past every minute. We’ve been working out of this same spot for a long time now. The building isn't much to look at from the outside but it’s where we get all the casting work finished. Usually, the day starts pretty early when the sun isn't too hot yet. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of the machines and the guys talking over the clatter. There is always a layer of fine dust on everything no matter how much we sweep up in the evenings. We keep a small stove in the corner for making tea during the breaks. Most of the people who come by are regulars who know exactly where the office door is. It’s a bit of a heavy door and it creaks when you open it. We don't have any big signs or bright lights to show the way. The walls have a few old calendars hanging up and some scraps of paper with numbers scribbled on them. It’s just a normal place where people work hard. Daba Road can get a bit crowded when deliveries arrive but we manage to find space. We just focus on the metal and getting things moved out on time. It's not a complicated life.
