JJ Die Makers

You can find JJ Die Makers over in Janta Nagar, at number 1830. We are situated near Naseeb Park, which is a nice little landmark for anyone trying to find us. The shop is actually right on Salunke Vihar Road. It gets very busy out there during rush hour, so we usually hear the constant honking of cars while we are working on our dies. Making dies is slow and steady work. It takes a lot of patience and looking closely at the metal for hours. Our workshop is full of heavy machinery and blocks of steel waiting to be cut. It gets quite warm in the back where the cutting happens, so we usually keep the front door open for a bit of a breeze. We have been in this spot for a while and the locals know us. We aren't trying to do anything big or fancy, just making sure the pieces we make are what people asked for. The floor is covered in tiny metal shavings that we sweep up every evening, though they always seem to come back by the next morning. It’s just me and a few others here most days. We keep our own hours mostly, depending on how much work is piled up on the bench. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we have to redo a piece if it isn't just right, but that is part of the job.
