Jiwan Machine Tools

We have been here in Dashmesh Nagar for quite a while now. Most people around Gill Road know us for the machine tools we keep in stock. It’s a busy street, number 12 to be exact, and we stay pretty busy too. We started out small with just a few machines and a bit of floor space, and we have just kept going since then. There really isn't much to say other than we work hard every day. It gets loud here sometimes with all the metal and the work going on, but that is how a workshop should be. We handle various types of tools and equipment that local workshops and factories around Ludhiana need for their own jobs. If you walk down Street 12, you will see our sign eventually. It is a family thing mostly. We don't have a big office or fancy chairs, just the floor where the real work happens. My father started this and now we handle the daily stuff together. We know our machines well. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain makes the road a bit muddy, but we open the shutters anyway. It’s just how things are done in this part of town. We don’t do much advertising because most people just come by when they need something fixed or a new tool for their shop. We try to be fair and just get the job done right. It's a simple life running a tool shop on Gill Road. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years but we're still here at 1626/1/A.
