Jaysons Engg. Works

Jaysons Engg. Works is situated at Plot No - 3239, over on Street No - 3 in Chet Singh Nagar. We are right off Gill Road in Ludhiana. This area is full of workshops, so you are always hearing the sound of metal hitting metal or machines humming in the background. Our shop is no different. It’s a bit dark inside because of all the heavy machinery and the grease that seems to get on everything over time. We have stacks of steel rods and finished parts lying around the floor. You have to be careful where you step. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot to work comfortably. My hands are usually covered in oil by ten o'clock, but that is the nature of the work we do. We make things that people need for their own machines. It is hard work and the floor is always covered in metal shavings that we sweep up at the end of the shift. We don't have a fancy website or anything. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. The neighbors are all in the same line of work, so we often borrow tools or help each other out with heavy lifting. It is a tough environment, but it is what we know. We just focus on the lathe and the drills every day.
