Jain Iron Industrial Corporation is over at 442 Overlock Road in the Millar Ganj area. If you know this part of town, you know it’s where all the iron and metal work happens. It’s a noisy street with a lot of clanging and machines running. We spend our days surrounded by iron rods and heavy pieces of metal. Our workshop isn't a place for suits and ties. We’re usually wearing work clothes that have seen better days. The air has that metallic smell that you only find in places like this. We spend most of our time cutting, moving, and organizing the stock. It’s heavy work and it keeps us tired, but it’s what we do. The building is old and the walls have a lot of marks on them from moving heavy loads around. We don't worry about the decor because we’re too busy with the actual jobs. People from all over Millar Ganj come to us for their iron needs. We don't use any fancy sales tactics or marketing. We just tell people what we have available and what the price is. Most of the guys working here have been with us for years. We’re just a group of people working hard in a busy part of the city. It’s a straightforward life and the work is constant. That’s how we like it, and we don't see that changing anytime soon.
