Jai Mata Di Steel Traders

We are located on Sua Road, right in the heart of Industrial Area C. If you know where Sitara Cinema is, we are just behind it. Jai Mata Di Steel Traders is mostly just a big yard and a small office. We spend most of our time moving heavy pieces of metal around. It’s physical work and it can be quite tiring during the summer months when the sun is hitting the steel. We have been here for a while, and we’ve seen the industrial area change quite a bit. There’s always trucks coming and going, which makes the road pretty busy. We don't do much in terms of advertising; most people just hear about us from their neighbors or other businesses nearby. We keep stacks of different types of steel, and we try to keep an eye on what’s running low. It isn't a glamorous job. Your hands get dirty and the noise of the cranes is constant. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the loading goes okay. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, but we push through. It’s a practical business for practical people. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. Most of our work is done out in the yard talking to drivers and checking inventory. It’s just how we run things here behind the cinema. We show up, move the steel, and go home tired.
