Jai Bhole Sweet Shop

We are tucked away in the Litt Market in Model Town at 211-A. This market stays pretty lively, especially in the evenings when everyone is out walking around. Jai Bhole Sweet Shop is basically just a few of us working behind the counters and in the kitchen space. We open up the shop and the first thing we do is check the stock from the day before. The glass counters usually need a good wipe down to get the fingerprints off. We have a routine that we follow every single day. It starts with the heavy pots and ends with locking the shutters at night. The space isn't huge, so we have to be careful not to bump into each other when we are moving fast. There is always a bit of a stack of empty crates near the back door waiting to be picked up. We see a lot of the same faces coming in from the neighborhood. Some people just stop by to say hello while they are passing through the market. The air smells like sugar and milk most of the time, which you get used to after about ten minutes of being here. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just the basic stuff we need to keep things running. It is an honest day of work for us. We keep the lights on and the shelves full, and that is about all there is to it for the shop.
