J P Steels India is set up on Plot No-643 in Industrial Area B, right off Gill Road. If you know the industrial side of town, you know it is a place where things actually get made. Our plot is usually filled with stacks of steel that come in and go out on big lorries. It is a dirty, heavy job, but it is what we do here. The yard can get a bit muddy when it rains, and the sun beats down on the metal in the summer, making everything hot to the touch. We have a small office space, but most of the action happens out where the steel is being moved. We deal with all sorts of people, from big contractors to guys just needing a few lengths for a small job. There is no polish to the way we run things. We just keep track of the weight and the types of steel we have in stock on some ledgers. The noise of the cranes and the trucks is just the background to our day. We don't have a team of salesmen or a glossy brochure to hand out. If someone needs steel, they come down to Gill Road and find us. We have been in this spot for a long time, and we just keep the business moving one load at a time, every day of the week.
