We've been at 1575, G. T. Road for a while now. Ludhiana is a busy place, especially around Dholewal Chowk where our workshop sits. We work on machine tools here as J. P. Machine Tool Pvt. Ltd. It’s a lot of metal and grease most days. My dad started things years back, and we just kept it going because it’s what we do. People come by when they need a specific part or a machine fixed up. We don't have a fancy front office or anything like that. It's just a workshop where things get made. Sometimes the noise from the G. T. Road is a bit much, but you get used to it after a week. We deal with various lathes and industrial equipment. It's honest work and keeps us busy. The tea guy comes around at eleven and that’s usually when we take a break. If you're driving past Dholewal Chowk, you've probably seen our old sign. It’s a bit faded from the sun now. We keep busy with local orders and some from further out in Punjab. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the machines we send out actually work. Metalworking isn't always clean, but it's what we know best. We have a small crew, mostly guys who have been with us since the start. They know the machines inside out. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders. There isn't much more to the story.
