Working here on G T Road is always an experience. We are situated at 7th C Main, which is a spot that gets a lot of traffic. You can hear the engines and the horns from inside the building all through the day. We work on various automation things, mostly small parts and sensors that go into bigger machines. The workshop is full of tools and bits of wire. It’s not the cleanest place but everything has its spot. I usually spend my mornings checking the machines and making sure everything is running right. The G T Road location is good because people can find us without much trouble. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and you're right in the middle of where the work happens. Sometimes the delivery guys get lost and I have to go out to the main road to wave them down. The walls are painted a dull grey and we have some old calendars hanging up. My hands are usually a bit greasy by the end of the shift. We just focus on getting the tasks done one by one. It’s a simple setup with a couple of benches and some soldering irons. We’ve been at this 7th C Main address for a few years now. Most of the people who work here live nearby. We just do our thing and try to keep the machines humming along.
