H.R. Grinders

If you walk down Street Number 18 in Kot Mangal Singh, you will find H.R. Grinders at number 8679. We have been in this part of town for quite some time now. The street is usually full of activity, and our shop fits right in with the rest of the local businesses. We do a lot of grinding work, which means there is always a bit of grit in the air and the sound of metal on metal. It is hard work, and your clothes definitely get dirty by the end of the shift. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist; you just walk in and find one of us near the machines. Most of our tools have been with us for years, and they still work just fine for what we need. We spend the day taking orders and making sure the finish on the parts is what it needs to be. Sometimes a customer brings in something really worn out, and we have to see if we can even fix it or if it is too far gone. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is honest work that keeps us busy. The neighborhood knows us, and we know most of the people who walk past our door every day. When the sun goes down, we clean up the shop as best we can and lock up.
