About Hari Om Mishthan – Food & Beverages in Ludhiana
Over here at Kitchlu Nagar, inside the Shalini Residency at 1-C, you’ll find our shop, Hari Om Mishthan. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main market, which we actually prefer. Most of our customers live right here in the residency or just a few streets away. We keep things pretty straightforward. There’s a counter for the sweets and a few stools if someone wants to sit for a minute, though it's mostly take-away. We start early, around five or six, to get the milk boiling and the dough ready. It’s a lot of manual work, stirring the big pots and shaping everything by hand. The shop is small, so we have to be organized, even if it looks a bit cluttered behind the counter sometimes. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just hear about us from their neighbors or see us when they’re coming home. The light in the shop isn't the brightest, and the paint might need a touch-up soon, but the food is what matters to us. We try to keep the prices fair because we know the people living around here. It’s just a regular local business. We deal with the usual daily stuff, like late deliveries or a fuse blowing out, but we manage to keep the doors open. If you’re walking through Shalini Residency, stop in and say hello. We’re usually busy with a batch of something, but we always have time to pack a box.
