Natt Steel Works

If you head down the road from the Air Force Station toward Halwara Toosa, you’ll find Natt Steel Works. We’ve been set up here for a good while, doing all sorts of metal jobs. It’s a noisy place with the sound of grinders and welding sparks flying most of the day. We work with steel, making gates, window grills, and frames for sheds. People from the nearby villages and the base staff often stop by with something that needs fixing or a custom order for their homes. It’s dirty work, and our hands are usually covered in grease or iron dust by noon. We don’t have a showroom or anything like that. You just walk into the workshop and tell us what you need. We have a few heavy machines and a lot of scrap metal piled in the corners. Sometimes we’re out on a site fitting a heavy gate, and other times we’re just sitting on stools debating the best way to bend a particular pipe. It isn't a high-tech operation, just honest labor and a lot of heat. The location near the station makes it easy for folks to find us. We take pride in the fact that the things we build last a long time. It’s a local shop, run by people who live right around here. We just keep our heads down and get the orders finished. There’s always another piece of steel waiting to be cut or welded together.
