H K Metals sits right at the junction where Samrala Road and Marv Road meet S V Road. It’s a bit of a chaotic spot with all the trucks and bikes zooming past all day long. We have been working out of this location for a good bit now, dealing with all kinds of metal pieces. The yard is usually full of stacks and piles that we move around with the crane. It can get a bit cluttered, but we usually know where everything is. The noise from the junction is constant, but you stop noticing it after the first hour. We aren't big on paperwork or fancy meetings; we mostly just stand around the site and figure out what needs to be loaded next. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit of a mess, but we just put on boots and keep going. It is a practical kind of place. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. People just pull up to the gate and we talk to them right there. It is a lot of heavy lifting and moving stuff from one pile to another. The sun hits the metal and makes it hot to touch in the afternoons. We just keep the water jug full and stay busy. It is just a regular metal yard doing what needs to be done. We don't bother with fancy talk, we just move the metal where it needs to go.
