Guru Teg Engg. Company

Guru Teg Engg. Company is situated right on G.T. Road in Miller Ganj. We are very close to the fire brigade station, so we hear the sirens going off quite a bit throughout the day. Miller Ganj is a really active area for engineering and mechanical work, so we fit right in with the rest of the shops on this stretch. Our building is an older one that has been through a lot of seasons. The walls are stained with years of grease and smoke, which is typical for a place that handles heavy engineering tasks. Inside, the floor is mostly taken up by large machines that make a lot of noise when they are running at full speed. We don't have much of a front office, so when someone comes to see us, they usually just walk right into the middle of the workshop. It’s a very hands-on environment where everyone is expected to get their hands dirty. We start early in the morning before the G.T. Road traffic gets too backed up, and we stay until the light starts to fade. There is a lot of heavy lifting involved, and the work is physically demanding, but it’s what we know how to do. We don't use any fancy language to describe our work; we just tell people what we can do and then we do it. It’s a simple setup that has worked for us for a long time without any need for big changes or modern frills.
