You can find us in Janta Nagar on Street Number 29, right near Gurudwara Road. We’ve been at this spot, number 1356, for quite some time. We make auto parts. It’s mostly small components that go into bigger engines or chassis. The street can get pretty tight with delivery vans and people moving stuff around, but we manage. Inside the shop, it’s all about the lathes and the milling machines. We aren't a massive corporation with thousands of workers. It's just a group of us who know how to work with steel and iron. We get the raw materials delivered, and then we spend the day cutting and shaping them. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend half a day fixing a gear, which is frustrating but part of the job. We don’t really do much advertising. People who need what we make usually find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been buying from us for years. It’s a dusty environment and the smell of cutting oil is everywhere. We keep our heads down and get the counts right. If an order is for five hundred pieces, we make sure five hundred pieces go out the door. It’s basic, honest work in the heart of the industrial patch. We like the routine of it and the people who work here are like family.
