Guru Foundry Works

The place is over at No. 1644 on Street No. 12. Most folks know it as Dashmesh Nagar, just off Gill Road. It gets pretty loud and dusty here during the day. That is just how it is when you run Guru Foundry Works. We spend most of the morning getting things ready and the furnace stays hot for hours. It is not a fancy setup by any means. There are metal scraps in the corners and the floors are never really clean for long. We have been in this spot for a good while now. People come by when they need parts made or something cast in metal. Sometimes the traffic on Gill Road makes it hard to get the trucks in, but we manage. My hands are usually covered in grease or soot by lunchtime. It is honest work, mostly. We just keep our heads down and get the orders out as they come in. There is no big office here, just the workshop and a small desk for paperwork. If the gate is open, someone is usually inside working on a mold or checking the cooling trays. It is a bit cramped inside with all the machinery, but we know where everything is. You get used to the smell of hot metal after a few days. That is just our daily life here in the lane. We don't have much to say about ourselves other than we show up every day and do what needs doing for the trade.
