Gurpreet Steels

We are located right on Chandigarh Road in Bajwa Colony. It is easy to find because the steel yard is pretty big and you can see the trucks moving in and out from the main road. Jagraon is a busy place and being on this road means we see a lot of people passing by. Gurpreet Steels is basically just a yard and a small office where we handle the paperwork. It gets quite dusty when the wind picks up, but that is just how it is when you deal with metal all day. We have a few guys who have been working here for years. They know the inventory better than the computer does. Sometimes the tea stall down the road brings us cups in the afternoon, which is the best part of the day. The gates open early and we don't really close until the last delivery is sorted. It is hard work, mostly lifting and moving things, so everyone stays pretty tired. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy stuff about what we do. It’s just us selling steel to whoever needs it for their construction or repairs. The office floor is usually covered in footprints from the yard, and we gave up on keeping it perfectly clean a long time ago. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the trucks are loaded properly before they head out to their destination.
