Gupta Sweets

We are located over in Sector 19 D in Ludhiana. It’s a decent spot and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Dealing with sweets is what we do, and the kitchen stays pretty warm most of the day. People from around the sector usually drop by in the evenings when they’re headed home. We don’t have any big corporate backing or anything like that, it’s just a local shop run by local people. Sometimes we run out of certain items before the day ends, but that’s just how it goes when you make things in small batches. The street outside can get a bit crowded with cars, but our regulars don't seem to mind. We focus on the work and try not to worry about much else. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning or cushioned chairs, just a place to get something sweet. My cousin helps out behind the counter when things get busy. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our little corner in Sector 19 D stays pretty much the same. We just keep the trays filled and the floors swept as best as we can. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late at night. If you’re around this part of Ludhiana, you probably already know where we are. We just keep it simple and do the same thing every single day.
