We decided to run the business out of a house because it’s a lot more comfortable than a cold office building. It’s a regular neighborhood, so you might hear a dog barking or see kids playing outside while we’re working on brand stuff. We spend our time thinking about how businesses look to the world. It’s interesting work, even if it’s just a few of us sitting in a converted living room with our laptops. We don't have a big sign out front or a fancy lobby with a receptionist. Usually, if the doorbell rings, one of us just gets up to answer it. We like keeping things informal. It helps the creativity flow better when you aren't wearing a suit and tie every day. We’ve had a lot of different people come through these doors, and we always just sit down and talk like normal people. There’s no corporate jargon here. We just look at what a business is doing and try to find a way to make it stand out a bit more. Sometimes we stay late and order food while we finish a project. It’s a bit messy at times, with papers and sketches everywhere, but that’s just our process. We’re just local folks doing what we enjoy in a quiet part of town. It works for us and the people we work with.
