You can find us in Miller Ganj, specifically in the Tarundeep Market area on Overlock Road. If you know Ludhiana, you know this part of town is always buzzing with traders and workers. Kumar & Co has been around this market for quite a bit. Our shop is at number 115. It is a tight space, packed with whatever stock we are carrying at the time. We deal with various goods, and the inventory changes, but the way we work stays the same. We open up early because the market starts early. Most of our day is spent dealing with transporters and other local merchants. It is a lot of talking, drinking chai, and negotiating over the noise of the rickshaws outside. We don't have a website or anything like that; people just know where we are. We use those big old registers to keep track of sales. It is a bit chaotic sometimes when a lot of people come in at once, but we manage. The building is old and the stairs are narrow, but it has character. We are just a small part of the big market engine here. We don't make big promises, we just try to have the items people need when they come looking. It is a simple way of doing business that hasn't changed in years. We know our neighbors and we know our customers.
