We’ve been over here at Focal Point for a while now, right near Shakti Dharam Kanta. If you know the Phase-V area, you know it’s mostly just trucks and workshops and heavy machinery. Our place on Plot 161 and 162 is usually dusty because of all the traffic outside. We deal with whatever comes through the door. It’s a lot of lifting and moving things around. The guys in the shop are usually covered in grease or dust by lunchtime. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. People just walk in, find someone at a desk, and ask what they need. It’s a working area, not a place for sitting around. We have a couple of fans that struggle in the summer heat, but we manage. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, so we just wait it out or work by the light from the big doors. There's always a queue of lorries nearby at the kanta. We know the neighbors pretty well since we've shared this stretch of road for years. It isn't a flashy setup, just some brick walls and a tin roof that makes a lot of noise when it rains. We handle the orders as they come in. It’s simple work, really. Most of our day is spent checking inventory and talking to drivers who are usually in a hurry to get back on the road. We just try to get the day's tasks done so we can go home. There is a small tea stall just around the corner where we get our morning snacks.
