Gopal Sweet

We’ve got our shop, Gopal Sweet, located on S Y Ramachandra Road at the 2nd Cross in Jagraon. It’s a small place, nothing too fancy to look at from the street. We focus on the kitchen work more than the decor. Most days start before the sun comes up because that's when the milk arrives. We don't have a fancy office or a manager in a suit. It’s just me and a couple of others handling the frying and the sales. The 2nd Cross can get a bit muddy when it rains, but people still come by for their daily fix. We don’t use any high-tech machinery, just the same pots and pans we’ve had for a decade. Sometimes we forget to change the sign in the window, but everyone knows what we sell anyway. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except when the holidays come around and everyone wants their orders at the same time. We don't have any big promises to make. We just show up, do the work, and close the shutters when the trays are empty. If you're looking for us in Jagraon, just head toward S Y Ramachandra Road and look for the 2nd Cross. We’ll likely be there near the corner, probably busy with a batch of something hot. It’s just an ordinary shop for ordinary people who want something nice to eat.
