Our shop is in Bahadurpur, right near the gate for the Tibba Sahib Gurudwara. It’s a quiet area most of the time, except when there’s a festival or a big crowd at the temple. We’ve been here in Adamwal for years. Every morning we start before the sun comes up to get the sweets ready for the day. The kitchen gets really hot with the big vats of milk and sugar going. It’s a lot of stirring and watching the heat. We don’t have a fancy menu, just the traditional things people around here like to eat. Most of our customers are locals who stop by on their way home or people visiting the Gurudwara. We don’t do any big advertising. Word of mouth usually brings people in. Sometimes we run out of certain items by the afternoon, especially on Sundays. It’s a small team here, mostly just family and a few helpers from the village. We try to keep things clean and simple. You might find us sitting on the bench outside during a slow hour, just watching the street. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but our spot stays pretty much the same. We just do what we know how to do without making a big fuss about it. It’s honest work and it keeps the community fed. We don't have fancy displays, just fresh stuff made every single day.
