Raju Engg. Corp.

Raju Engg. Corp. is right across from the ITI College in Shimlapuri. Our address is 3787, and being near the college means there’s always a lot of students and activity around. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a long time. The workshop is usually filled with the sound of lathes and drills. It’s a family-run kind of place where things aren’t always perfectly tidy. We have bins of bolts and spare parts that have been around for years. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what we need, but we always find it. People in Shimlapuri know us as the place to go when they need something machined or fixed up. We don’t do a lot of advertising because word of mouth works better for us anyway. The shop can get pretty crowded when we have a big project going on. We work on all kinds of mechanical parts. Some days are slow and we just clean the machines, and other days we’re working late into the night. We don’t have a human resources department or a corporate office. It’s just Raju and a couple of assistants making sure the jobs get finished. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the news while we work. It’s a comfortable place to be, even if it’s a bit greasy and loud. We like being so close to the college because it keeps the energy up around the street. It’s just a normal shop doing normal work every single day.
