Genius Fabrication

You can find us at Plot No. 4357 on St.No.2 in Shimla Puri. We are pretty close to the Canal Beidge and Gill Road, so there is always a lot of dust and movement around the shop. Fabrication is messy work. We have piles of steel tubes and sheets of metal stacked up outside and inside. The sound of the cutter is basically the background music for our entire day. It’s a rough environment with sparks flying and the smell of burnt metal everywhere. We wear our old clothes because they’re just going to get holes in them anyway. Our shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a big shutter and some brick walls. Inside, we have our welding machines and some heavy tables where we line everything up. It takes a lot of patience to get the angles right. Sometimes we’re out on a site fitting things, but mostly we are right here in Shimla Puri. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. We don’t bother with fancy signs or anything. People know where we are because of the noise and the stacks of metal. It’s a simple business where we just try to get the orders out on time. The weather gets really hot in the summer, making the metal hard to touch, but we just keep going.
