Ganesan Farm

You can find Ganesan Farm at No.123/E, right near Dhindsa Road in Dudian. It is a bit out of the way, which suits us just fine for the kind of work we do. Farming here is a full-time commitment that doesn't leave much room for anything else. We have a fair amount of land that we try to keep productive throughout the year. The soil in Dudian has its own personality, and we have learned over time what grows best here. Our day starts early with the sound of the birds and the water pump. It’s not a glamorous life, and our hands are usually stained with soil or grease from the tractor. The gate at the front squeaks a bit, and we haven't gotten around to oiling it yet. We just focus on the plants and making sure everything gets enough water. When the harvest time comes, it’s all hands on deck and things get very chaotic for a few weeks. The rest of the time, it’s just the slow rhythm of the farm. We don't have any big signs or fancy buildings. Just the fields and some storage sheds for the tools. It is a hard way to live sometimes, especially when the rain doesn't come when it should, but we are used to the ups and downs. It is just how life goes for us on Dhindsa Road, working the ground and waiting for the crops to grow properly.
