Ags Impex India (P) Ltd. is situated on Rahon Road, right on the main road. It is a busy spot where trucks are often pulling in or out. The office is part of a larger warehouse structure. We deal with a lot of different goods, so you never really know what will be stacked in the loading area on a given day. Inside, the desks are piled with manifests and shipping documents. It is a bit noisy because of the traffic outside and the sound of the shutters going up and down. We have a small team here. Most of us have been working together for years, so we have a rhythm. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor is just plain concrete. It’s not a corporate headquarters with glass walls. It’s a practical space for moving goods. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers and suppliers. There is a small area where we have lunch together. The Rahon Road area is always dusty, so we are constantly wiping down the computers. We don't really have a mission statement or anything. We just make sure the shipments get to where they are supposed to go. Sometimes there are delays at the port or with the trucks, and those are the long days. It is just a regular trading business trying to keep things moving along in this part of town without much trouble.
