Gahir Industries (Regd.)

Gahir Industries (Regd.) has been operating out of 2816, Street Number 1 in Jammu Colony for quite a stretch. The street can be a bit narrow, so getting deliveries in and out takes some patience. We have our machinery set up inside and there is usually a lot of noise when things are running full tilt. It is an industrial area, so people are used to the sound of work being done. We started out small and stayed that way, mostly because we like knowing exactly what is happening on the floor every day. The office part is just a small corner where we keep the ledgers and handle the phone calls. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain makes the road a bit messy, but that’s just how it goes here in the colony. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. We just make what we make and hope it’s what people are looking for. Most of our neighbors are also in some kind of trade, so there is a bit of a community feel on our street. We open up early and usually stay until the last job is finished for the day. It’s practical work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. If you find yourself in Jammu Colony, you can’t miss the building. We’ve been here long enough that people just know us by name.
