G S Steel Traders

We are tucked away on Dhuri Line 6. G S Steel Traders is a small operation, mostly just a few of us handling the buying and selling of steel. The location isn't hard to find if you know the area well enough. We’ve got stacks of material sitting around and it can look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time on the phone or talking to folks who drop by to see what we have in stock. It’s a lot of lifting and moving things around. The weather plays a big part in our day; if it rains, we have to move stuff inside quick. Dhuri Line can get quite busy during the morning hours. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People just know us from being around for a while. We keep a ledger of everything that comes in and goes out. It’s an old-school way of doing things, but it works for us. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to run a decent trading business. Some days are slow and we just sit around the small table we have and talk about the news. Other days, we barely have time to grab a bit of lunch. It’s just the life of a small trader here. We just stay here and handle the daily grind.
