Friends Metal Industries is tucked away at 807, Nirankari Street No. 5. You’ll find us in the Millar Ganj area, which is pretty well known for industrial shops like ours. It is a bit of a maze back here, but once you find Street No. 5, we are easy enough to spot. We work with metal all day long, so there is always the sound of cutting or welding going on. It’s not a quiet place to work, that’s for sure. The floor is concrete and usually has some metal shavings scattered around. We have a small team here. Most of us have been doing this for a long time. We don't have any flashy signs or a big marketing budget. We just do the metalwork that comes in and try to do it right. People in Millar Ganj know we are here if they need something fabricated or fixed. Sometimes the electricity acts up or the delivery truck gets stuck in the narrow street, but we deal with it. It’s just how things go in this part of town. We are just a local shop trying to make a living. No fancy mission statements here, just a lot of iron and steel. We open early and stay until the job is done. It’s honest work and we are used to the grease and the noise. We just keep our heads down and get on with the task.
