Everest Public Senior Secondary School

If you go down Chandigarh Road in Ludhiana, specifically in the Moti Nagar area, you’ll find us near B Block Park. Everest Public Senior Secondary School is a familiar spot for the people living around here. Sashi Sharma is the one you’ll often find managing things or answering the phone if you give us a call. The school is right next to the park, which is nice because it gives us a bit of a view of the trees and some green space. Ludhiana is a busy, industrial city, so having a school near a park is a bit of a relief. Our building is a standard one, with classrooms that have seen many groups of students pass through over the years. We don't have a lot of polished marketing materials or a big advertising budget. Most people know us because they live nearby or their cousins went here. We spend our days dealing with the curriculum, checking uniforms, and making sure the seniors are actually studying for their boards. It gets very busy during admissions and even busier during exam season. The staff room is usually full of tea cups and piles of marking that need to be finished. We don't try to sound like a big corporate entity. We are just a local school in Moti Nagar. We keep the gates shut during class and open them up when it’s time to go home. It’s a lot of routine.
