Ess Ell Enterprises

You can find us at Ess Ell Enterprises on the first floor over in Dana Mandi, right on Gill Road. We are quite close to the Mandi Board Office, so there are always trucks and tractors moving around outside. It’s a loud area, full of the smells of the market and the sound of horns. Being on the first floor means we have to haul everything up and down the stairs, which is a good workout if nothing else. We handle a lot of different things here, mostly focusing on what the local businesses and farmers need. It’s a practical office, not a showroom. We have desks piled with papers and samples of products scattered around. Sometimes the dust from the Mandi blows in through the windows, so we are always wiping things down. I’ve been working in this part of town for a long time and I know the rhythm of the market. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking deliveries. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. If someone comes up the stairs, they usually know what they want, and we just get to work helping them. Life on Gill Road is fast and a bit messy, but that’s how business gets done around here. We just keep our heads down and keep the orders moving every day of the week. There is always a lot to do and never enough time to get through it all perfectly.
