We are located out in Village Tibba, right opposite the Gurudwara Somasar Sahib. It’s near Sahnewal, so it’s a bit of a drive from the main city. Being near the Gurudwara gives the place a very calm feeling in the mornings. We work on bakery machines here. It’s a hands-on kind of job. You’ll see a lot of tools lying around and parts of ovens or mixers being put together. It’s not a sterile environment. There is grease and metal shavings because we are actually building and fixing things. Our shop floor is usually busy with someone welding or testing a motor. We have a small office section for the paperwork, but most of the action happens in the back. People from the nearby villages and towns come to us when they want to start a bakery. We talk to them about what they need and show them the machines we have. It’s honest work. We don't have a receptionist in a suit. You’ll probably find the owner with his sleeves rolled up helping with a repair. We drink tea out of steel tumblers and talk about the local news while we work. It’s a simple life in Tibba and we are happy to be part of the community here. There is no corporate polish, just people doing their jobs every day and fixing machines.
